So, I'm thinking the good must always come with bad.
The hair-nourish might be making my face break out, but its hard to tell if its just PMS breakout or something in the formula breakout. I figure I will finish up the bottle and if my face is still bad, (I wasn't really planning on buying it again anyway) I will just switch to straight MSM to see if it is the Biotin or the MSM that is making my face crazy. If its the MSM I'll try staight Biotin. It might even be something else in the formula. I was planning on just getting MSM anyway to see if I could get just that to work. Its cheaper :) and we all know how poor college students are!
Thats all tonight.
I'll do a proper update with measurements on Tuesday, FROM MY DORM! aaaah! So excited to move out of my parents house again!

One week down.
Maybe its just me, but I always feel like the first week after you get a haircut is always the hardest. Maybe its just that you don't know what to do with yourself or maybe I'm just nuts.
But anyway. I've been leaving it in pigtails lately. actually all the time. Pretty much night and day. I guess I'm a little afraid of the afro again. I've got so many negative feelings toward it from getting so much crap from school kids and although I've healed, its still hard. I dunno.
Its grown already. I can tell. I was so pleased when I measured it this morning. 1/4 of an inch! In a week! Yay! It's been a week since the cut and 5 days on vitamins with MONDO water drinkage. I think I'm going to get some strictly MSM to add on to the hair nourish. See if my hair likes that more. If nothing changes, I'll probably try some strictly Biotin. I just have to try different things.
Oh! and I realized that I can't measure the back of my hair too well considering its all different lentghs. grrr. We will just stick to measuring the front!
Until next time...
August 26th -
Length - 8.75 inch
Overall heath - hair still feels just as soft as last week. The ends are still feeling good.

The first of many!
Well,
A new blog, a new hair cut, a new me?
Well, not entirely a new me, maybe just an improved haired me. If that makes sense.
So here is what prompted this decision to actually become serious about getting long, healthy hair.
I went with Em and Manda to go get haircuts at their Aunt's salon. Awesome, free haircut. But I guess you get what you pay for. I shouldn't say that. Their aunt did what she knew how and I didn't speak up when I should've but anyway I walked in with almost shoulder length hair and walked out with CHIN LENGTH and thats straight, babies. which means Co is back to her white girl afro days! Plus its all one length. Which equals triangle-head death. Oh well. Its just hair, it always grows back!
Luckily I can still pull it off my face but I really don't want to leave it down, which is kinda upsetting, but at the same time, I almost never leave it down anyway!
But here is what Co W. is saying folks! I am now going to try my darnedest to get Below Shoulder Length (while still curly) hair. I really want to see if I can do it. I feel like I am ready to do this better than I have ever been before!
I'm currently taking GNC hair-nourish vitamins everyday, along with my one-a-day women's multi. I'm also more careful about what I put on my hair. I am a member of naturallycurly.com which rocks because I can connect with other curly girls! Plus I'm ready to fight the PMS impulse of "my hair looks shitty! I'm cutting it!" by buying my own shears and dusting it every 6 weeks. And I have this awesome little blog to tell everyone about it. I'll probably post my feelings about my hair along with my progress up here for the world to read.
August 19th -
length - 2 inches in bottom 8.5 inches in front
Overall Heath - Feels very soft, curls are strangely looser. It's quite nice to have all the split ends off.
Until next time!
